About the Open Call

Awarded trios will receive $30,000 for a period of sustained collaboration from April to December 2027. The program supports exploration rather than final production. Trios must consist of an artist, a scientist with a Ph.D. or equivalent, and a representative from a 501(c)(3) arts organization. All applicants must be regionally co-located in the United States.

Applicants must be a trio comprising an artist, a scientist (Ph.D./equivalent), and an arts organization (501(c)(3)). Must be regionally co-located in the United States and able to meet in person.
