About the Open Call

Blue Koi Gallery invites artists and photographers to submit their best work to our Open Theme Art Competition. Where creativity has no limits. All mediums, styles, and subjects are welcome. Whether bold, subtle, abstract, or representational, this is your space to showcase the art that defines you. From your boldest statement to your quietest reflection, let the world see what only you can create. Unleash your creativity! Open to all artists, worldwide. Participants must be 18 years or older. Submissions in all mediums and skill levels are encouraged to apply. All winners will be featured in the Blue Koi Online Art Exhibition alongside some of the world’s best contemporary artists. At Blue Koi Gallery, every submission is reviewed anonymously by an independent panel of art professionals from around the world. Each competition brings a fresh set of jurors, ensuring a fair and diverse selection process. Final selections are thoughtfully made from the jury-approved pool, focusing on creativity, skill, and originality. We are committed to providing artists with a transparent and respectful experience.

Requirements

This competition is open to artists worldwide who are 18 years or older. All backgrounds, skill levels, and styles are welcome. We accept all visual media, including painting, mixed media, photography, digital art, and sculpture. All submissions must be original works created by the artist entering the competition. Image requirements: File Size: Max 2 MB, Format: jpg, jpeg, png. Ensure professional presentation, including proper cropping, no mockups, frames, or watermarks. File Name Format: Artist Name – Title of Art.jpg. High-resolution images (Maximum 2000px on the longest side) are required, in JPEG or PNG format only, with no watermarks or signatures. Professional lighting and a neutral background are preferred. Label file names clearly (Artist name – Artwork Title.jpg).
