About the Open Call
ORTO invites proposals for workshops, talks, presentations and events to be held during 2026 in Fornelo, Northern Portugal. We welcome projects that foster learning, dialogue, and creative exchange between local and international communities - connecting art, nature, and culture. Selected proposals will take place in ORTO’s variety of indoor and outdoor spaces adaptable to each project - from a courtyard to gardens and studio & workshop areas. We provide organisational support, publicity, and flexible space arrangements. Venue hire, meals, and accommodation (if needed) are agreed individually upon selection.
