About the Open Call

The Peninsula Art League (PAL) invites artists to the 40th Annual Summer Art Festival at Sehmel Homestead Park. The event features a unique quadrant booth layout where every artist occupies a corner spot. The festival includes live music, food trucks, and a family-friendly Kid’s Corner. All work must be original and executed by the artist; mass-produced or imported items are strictly prohibited. Participating artists are required to obtain a Washington state business license and manage sales tax collection.

What is Offered

Booth space in a juried festival, potential for featured promotion on event posters and social media, and award opportunities.

Requirements

Artists must provide their own fire-resistant 10x10 or 10x20 tent with sufficient weights and a fire extinguisher. A Washington State business license (UBI#) is required. All art must be original. Reprints must be labeled and cannot exceed 75% of the display. Artists or collaborators must be present for the duration of the festival.
