Palanga Art Residency – Lithuanian Artists‘ Association‘s Artist‘ House in Palanga - is located in a specific area – besides Palanga Botanical Park, which has started at the end of XIX century by famous French landscape architect Édouard François André. The distance from the residency to Baltic seashore – 500 meters, the main local cultural centre (2 min by walk), Palanga Youth culture centre (7 min by walk). Residency artists have convenient possibilities to develop their scientific-based art projects, meet other artists and create contacts with the local and national culture scene. Residents are able to create international networks among other professionals from art field. International residency links to sharing skills and experiences, implementation of collaborative projects, dedicated to local and professional community as well as in a global scale. This residency strengthens a partnership among different countries and Lithuania, which stimulates the new ideas and projects of regional and international scale. Participating artists are able to create international networks among other professionals from art field. Together with creators various activities held by initiative groups – educators, local communities can be developed in a partnership with regional branches of LAA, LAA’s galleries and artists’ community. Residency has 4 separate rooms. All accommodations suitable for 3 persons, so artist can bring family member(s) for additional fee - 10 eur/person/night. Rooms have separate WC, shower, refrigerator and teapot. Kitchen is in common area. Residency has big workshop (150 m²) with projector and audio equipment. Palanga Art is active in cooperation with local culture and art institutions and artists - Palanga Art school, Amber museum, Antanas Mončys Art musem and Palanga resort museum.
