About the Open Call

CHOCOLATE APOCALYPSE is a PANIC TV cinema experiment and community broadcast. The project invites clowns, tricksters, artists, and healers to create a film ritual that questions the transition of sacred symbols into mass-produced confectionery. 22 selected artists will each contribute exactly 2 minutes and 22 seconds of footage, which will be edited into a one-hour broadcast. The process includes tarot-based provocations, Zoom meet-ups for the artist cohort, and access to Divine Ridiculous online learning resources.

What is Offered

Inclusion in a community film broadcast, tarot-based artistic guidance, access to online learning resources, two Zoom sessions for artist networking, and technical support/mentorship.

Requirements

Artists must submit a film with a duration of exactly 2 minutes and 22 seconds. Submissions must include one written offering and one image. Participants must pay the £22 donation which supports technical editing and resources.

How to Apply

To participate, submit a £22 donation via PayPal.me/divineridiculous or the event ticket link, provide a written offering (question/riddle), and one image (still life/portrait/symbol).
