About the Open Call

The PAIR program provides space and support for performing artists to generate new work, offering $3,000 honorariums, rehearsal space, and archival access. Residents will participate in workshops, peer reviews, and public presentations centered around the theme 'Implied Selves'. Artists must be based in the NYC metropolitan area, aged 25 or older, and not enrolled in degree programs. The residency runs from October 12, 2026, to March 12, 2027.

What is Offered

$3,000 honorarium, rehearsal space, access to MOCA’s archive and collection, consultation with MOCA’s staff, and financial support for work-in-progress presentations.

Requirements

Must be a performing artist; self-identify as Asian/Chinese American or immigrant with a goal of continuing their career in the US; resident in NYC metropolitan area; aged 25 or over and not currently enrolled in any degree program; must be available for all required dates.
