About the Open Call
PICTURE STORM is an exhibition exploring our relationship with the overwhelming influx of images in modern life. The exhibition invites works that address how we process information, discern truth, and navigate a world overfull of visual content. Open to all media and traditional or non-traditional genres. Exhibiting artists receive a $50 honorarium and are eligible for the Grand Jury Award of $1,000.
What is Offered
Exhibition space, $50 honorarium per exhibiting artist, potential for $1,000 Grand Jury Award.
Requirements
Original works addressing the theme. Digital submissions required (high-quality JPEGs, at least 1000px, 72 dpi). For video/interactive work, include a viewing link and a representative JPEG still. Shipping costs to and from the gallery are the artist's responsibility.
How to Apply
Submit the online entry form on the Manifest Gallery website. Upload digital images to the provided project Dropbox. Payment can be made via PayPal or by check mailed to Manifest Creative Research Gallery.
