About the Open Call

The SHARE Study program provides a six-day immersive experience (December 15th-20th, 2025) exploring Pina Bausch's acclaimed works and creation processes. Participants will work with props and accessories, combining workshop and intensive research. Mentorship will be provided by Bénédicte Billiet and Scott Jennings from Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch Company, in close collaboration with the Pina Bausch Foundation. The daily schedule includes warm-up, and repertoire study of 'Rite Of Spring' and 'Kontakthof'. Accommodation options are available through partner Eden Studio Guest Villas.

What is Offered

Six-day intensive dance repertory lab with mentorship from former Tanztheater Wuppertal dancers.

Requirements

All applicants must be professional or pre-professional dancers, movers, or performers, with a minimum age of 18 years old. A maximum 1-minute video link (Vimeo or Youtube) of solo dancing (improvising or choreographed) must be provided. A full detailed resume (max 15Mb or weblink) is also required.

How to Apply

Applicants must apply by December 1st, 2025. Professional or pre-professional dancers are required to submit a maximum 1-minute video link (Vimeo or Youtube) of their dancing (solo only) and a full detailed resume. Accepted applicants will receive further steps via email within 2 days. Dancers who have previously participated can use the SHARE Pro button to book directly.
