About the Open Call

Pitch Up: Beginning is a networking and development event designed to demystify the theatre industry for early career theatre artists. The day includes venue introductions, artist snapshot opportunities, panel discussions on working with venues, and practical guides to marketing. This is an in-person event focusing on fostering partnerships between artists and venue representatives from London and the South East region.

What is Offered

Networking with venue representatives, industry panel discussions, marketing guidance, and limited bursaries for freelancers to cover attendance costs.

Requirements

Applicants must be theatre artists or companies in the early stages of their careers, interested in creating relationships with venues in the South East of England. Open to any theatre discipline. Applicants must be over 18.
