POLIS 2027 – Open Call for Artistic Residency

About the Open Call

POLIS Teatro Festival launches an open call for performing artists from Creative Europe countries for a 28-day residency in Ravenna, Italy, dedicated to the figure of Teodorico. Participants will develop a research-based project, engage with local experts, and work towards a new performance to be presented during the festival (May 4th–9th, 2027). The program covers travel, accommodation, per diems, work spaces, and provides artistic mentoring.

Coverage of travel expenses, accommodation, per diems, workspace access, artistic mentoring, and production support.

Requirements

Applicants must reside in eligible Creative Europe countries (excluding Italy), be 18+ years old, and be part of an established performing arts group or collective (max 5 people). Applicants must not be participating in another residency funded by Culture Moves Europe between 2025-2028. Must be available from April 12th to May 9th, 2027.
