About the Open Call
Portals is an online juried exhibition open to all CAA members and non-members. The exhibition explores what defines a portal, including literal, metaphorical, or imagined gateways. Accepted media includes collage, mixed-media collage, assemblage, and digital collage. The show is virtual and will be hosted on the CAA website and on OnlineJuriedShows. It includes awards totaling $1300.
What is Offered
Awards of $1300: $500 for First Place, $300 for Second, $200 for Third, $100 for Carolann Watterson Memorial Award, plus up to four Honorary Mentions of $50 each.
Requirements
Artists may submit a maximum of four works. No AI-generated artwork allowed. Work must be original and not previously shown in a CAA juried exhibit. Work done in instructor-led workshops is ineligible.
