The Mill at Vicksburg
Prairie Ronde is a process-based residency held at a former paper mill in Vicksburg, Michigan. We host three sessions annually (Spring, Summer, Fall) and accept 2–4 residents per session. Residents are expected to engage creatively with The Mill and the surrounding property. The residency includes a $2,000 stipend, a $500 travel grant, private housing, video documentation, and a gallery show. Artists must be highly independent and self-sufficient. As of April 25, 2025, international applicants are not being considered.

Applicants must demonstrate a high level of skill, a clear plan for incorporating The Mill/Vicksburg into their work, and the ability to work independently. Writers are eligible if their project relates directly to The Mill/Vicksburg.
