Advanced Dance Institute Barcelona
The Advanced Dance Institute Barcelona offers a three-year Pre-Professional Program with a physical base in Barcelona and a global vision, providing dancers aged 17 to 23 with a solid and confident entry into the professional world. The program runs from September to June, focusing on technical, artistic, and psycho-emotional development in dance. It is flexible to individual needs, with auditions tailored to place dancers at the appropriate level. Participants can enroll for 1, 2, or 3 years. Designed for dancers with an international outlook, it attracts aspiring students and professional artists from all over the world, preparing them for professional dance companies, diverse projects, or advanced studies. A diploma is awarded upon completion of the third year. The curriculum includes monthly week-long workshops and master classes with international guest artists, in-house residencies, and creation processes. Dancers train for about 6.5 hours a day, Monday to Friday, depending on the level, in morning or afternoon shifts. The program emphasizes personalized coaching and mentoring for holistic development, fostering a positive and supportive environment. The program features an experienced staff and Artistic Community, including Jos Baker, Mathilde Gilhet, Menghan Lou, and many other renowned guest artists and choreographers.

Dancers aged 17 to 23 with an international outlook. Required materials include a CV detailing dance education and experience, a Classical Ballet Video demonstrating barre and center exercises, and a Contemporary or Improvisation Video (max 2 mins).
Step 1: Applications close every Friday, with auditions open until the course 2026/27 is full. Step 2: Gather Your Materials including your CV (share dance education and experience) and videos uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo. Videos required are a Classical Ballet Video (demonstrate barre and center exercises including tendus, jetes, adagio, pirouettes, jumps) and a Contemporary or Improvisation Video (showcase a repertoire or improvisation, max 2 mins). Step 3: Submit your materials through the Online Audition Form on the website.
