About the Open Call
Welcome to the submission form for PJAS, an arts and sciences journal created at UPenn as an outlet for creativity! Please fill out the following details to submit your art, poetry, writing, reviews, research, and other creative pursuits. The SUMMER 2026 THEME is PRESENCE. We welcome creative pursuits of any kind, with no limit on the number of submissions per applicant. Visual artwork submissions will also be considered for a cover page competition.
What is Offered
Publication in digital and print formats; consideration for the magazine cover page competition.
Requirements
Submissions must be original creations that do not infringe on copyright. Applicants must provide high-resolution copies of their work and a brief description including mediums used.
How to Apply
Complete the online submission form and email a high-resolution attachment of your work to Sophie Kadan (sokadan@sas.upenn.edu) with the subject line, “PJAS Submission - Last Name, First Name”.
