Project Grants

About the Open Call

The Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation (CGIF) offers project grants to propose creative projects that expand materials science education in the community. Grants are intended for activities aligned with the CGIF's mission of attracting, inspiring, and supporting the next generation of ceramic and glass professionals. Funding may be used for supplies, materials, travel mileage, publicity, and printing, but cannot be used for research projects, equipment, or staff/administrative salaries. Applicants will be notified of decisions in October.

What is Offered

Up to $2,500 in grant funding per project.

Requirements

The project must support training the next generation of professionals in ceramic and glass materials science. It must not be for research, equipment, or salaries.
