Everything But The Work
Thanks for your interest in applying to Everything But The Work. Each week, we will highlight one artist for a deeper dive into their practice. Over the course of five days (Monday - Friday), the featured artist will be showcased on our Instagram page and website, following the structure below: Monday — Introduction. Who are you and what do you make? Tuesday — Processes. What does your practice look like? Wednesday — Influences. Who inspires you and your work? Thursday — Challenges. What’s an obstacle you’ve had to overcome? Friday — Reflections. What’s next? This is a chance for our community to connect more personally with the artist—to explore the ideas, moments, and experiences that shape their work. It also lets us spend more time celebrating each artist and what they bring to the table. We’re returning to the roots: why you do what you do. Thanks for getting deep, silly, and curious with us. Happy submitting! Please note that what you submit here through this application is what we will post. EBTW does not feature artists who submit images of final pieces. Instead, we invite you to use this project as an opportunity to explore and share the inspirations, processes, and ideas that shape your creative practice. This application is for Quarter 4, featuring artists in the months of October, November and December.
Selected artists will receive a five-day feature on Everything But The Work's Instagram page and website, providing a platform to share their creative practice, processes, influences, and reflections with a broader community.
Artists are required to submit content focusing on the ideas, moments, and experiences that shape their work, rather than images of final pieces. The application requires an artist statement, bio, and five distinct captions for daily themes: Introduction, Processes, Influences, Challenges, and Reflections. Submissions are for artists to be featured during Quarter 4 (October, November, December) 2025.
Applicants are required to complete an online application form. This form asks for personal details (Name, Email, Instagram), an artist statement and bio (max 250 words total), and five separate captions (max 200 words each) for daily themes: Introduction, Processes, Influences, Challenges, and Reflections. Submissions should focus on exploring and sharing inspirations, processes, and ideas, explicitly not on images of final pieces.
