Queer Migrations Art Book 2026

About the Open Call

Queer Migrations is a celebration of the movement, lives, and imaginations of LGBTQIA+ migrants, refugees, diasporic communities, and people living between places, languages, cultures, and histories. The project aims to explore journeys across borders and generations, recipes for survival, and the everyday experiences of queer migration. Submissions will be curated into a print and digital publication.

What is Offered

Each selected contributor receives a double page A5 spread in the publication, a £100 honorarium, and a printed copy of the book.

Requirements

Must be an LGBTQIA+ creative based in the UK with lived experience of migration, displacement, diaspora, refuge, or transnational belonging. Submissions must meet specific technical resolution requirements for print.
