About the Open Call
The World Heritage Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland International Scholarship and Residency (World Heritage Scholarship) is aimed at professional artists, cultural practitioners, and researchers. The program seeks projects that connect the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland to one or more other UNESCO World Heritage Sites through cultural heritage, conservation, or knowledge exchange. The residency period takes place in the summer of 2027.
What is Offered
A four-week residency at a World Heritage farm, a scholarship grant of 50,000 SEK, and travel to and from Hälsingland.
Requirements
Applicants must be professional artists, cultural practitioners, or researchers. The proposal must clearly relate the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland to other World Heritage Sites in the spirit of UNESCO.
