Est-Nord-Est
This eight-week residency program is open to professional visual artists from Québec, Canada, and other countries. The program focuses on research and experimentation rather than project production. Each residency period hosts four artists. The program provides an honorarium of CAD $2,080, individual studio-workshop space, access to specialized equipment, documentation centre, and logistical support. Priority is given to artists of African descent, though it welcomes all practitioners whose work resonates with the themes explored. Selected artists are expected to be present for the duration, present their research at the beginning and end of their residency, and have the option to propose community workshops for an additional honorarium.
