About the Open Call

Studio ALTA is offering four distinct residency opportunities for 2027: House of Research for experimental artistic practice; House of Rest for arts sector workers seeking professional recalibration; House in the Neighborhood for site-specific projects involving the local community (55+ focus); and House of Sweat for performative works exploring intimate environments within the Studio ALTA sauna space. Each program offers varying levels of financial support, technical consultation, and space for creative development.

What is Offered

Each residency includes an artist fee (ranging from CZK 6,000 to CZK 30,000), space for creative work, and varying levels of production, dramaturgical, and technical support.

Requirements

Eligibility varies by program. House of Rest is specifically for arts sector workers (production, dramaturgy, curating, PR, technical) active in the Czech Republic. Other programs generally require performative or artistic projects suitable for research or community engagement.
