About the Open Call

Applications for KHN residencies are submitted through an online application process. A nonrefundable $35 application fee applies to online submissions and is collected through the application portal; the application fee cannot be waived. Applications received via USPS mail or email will not be considered. Applicants must review all application guidelines prior to completing the online application. The jury process is blind, and all work samples and two statements must be anonymous. The residency provides an environment for focused work, with comfortable living and studio accommodations, and opportunities for community engagement such as open gallery nights. It offers a balance of solitude and camaraderie, fostering an interdisciplinary atmosphere.
