About the Open Call

Residenza Lago Scuro is a self-directed, interdisciplinary residency program that brings together 11 global creatives to explore their practice while living and working on a regenerative farm. The program emphasizes collaboration, sustainability, and creative exchange between cultural and agricultural arts. Participants have access to various workspaces on the property and are encouraged to observe and participate in daily farm activities. The program includes the 'Human Library' series featuring local and international experts, and concludes with an open-house celebration.

What is Offered

Selected residents receive a scholarship covering all core program expenses including accommodation, shared meals, materials, and offsite activities. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs to and from Italy.

Requirements

Applicants should be self-sufficient, curious, respectful, and open-minded. The program is open to practitioners of all disciplines, including fine artists, writers, performers, scientists, chefs, and designers. Residents are required to participate in preparing group dinners and provide digital documentation of their residency work.
