About the Open Call

Resolution is The Place’s annual festival celebrating new choreography and performance, running from 9 January – 25 February 2027. We are looking for short, live works (max 25 minutes) to be performed in our 288-seat auditorium. The festival supports artists through workshops and provides a platform to share work with peers, professionals, and critics. UK-based artists working in live performance, including dance, physical theatre, and circus, are eligible to apply.

What is Offered

Performance opportunity in a professional theatre, artist development workshops, and professional networking.

Requirements

Must be UK-based. No students, youth companies, or anyone under 18 years old. Selected work must not be performed elsewhere for 3 months before or after the festival dates. Compulsory attendance at workshops for successful applicants.
