About the Open Call
The 5th edition of the Sampo & Modalio Academy is a six-day intensive course for performers and composers interested in augmented instruments. The program covers live-electronics, improvisation, performance, and mixed music composition. Participants will work with the Sampo (portable instrument extension) and Modalio (pipe organ extension) in an environment focused on creativity, culminating in a public concert. The course is designed for intuitive use, requiring no prior experience in electroacoustic music.
What is Offered
Six days of intensive training, masterclasses, individual sessions, technical/artistic coaching, and a public concert opportunity.
Requirements
Open to professional and amateur musicians of all nationalities and backgrounds; no prior experience in electroacoustic or mixed music is required.
