Sandhill Studio
Artists are provided dedicated time and space to develop creative projects that reflect themes of nature, place, environmental stewardship, and conservation. Residency options include weekend, one-week, or two-week stays at the Tuscawilla Cabin in Micanopy, Florida. Participants are also encouraged to contribute to the community through workshops, donated artwork, or creative content supporting ACT’s mission.
Applicants must submit: A portfolio of 3–5 recent works An artist statement (250–500 words) A residency proposal describing planned activities/projects An in-kind contribution proposal benefiting ACT or the community Applications are evaluated based on: Artistic quality and originality Connection to ACT’s conservation mission Strength of the residency proposal Feasibility within the selected residency period
