About the Open Call

The SCG ART program, managed by Placer Community Foundation and housed through Blue Line Arts, brings established artists to Placer County. Selected artists lead an artist lecture, hold open studio hours, host school tours, and teach two workshops. Applicants must reside in Placer, Nevada, Yolo, El Dorado, Sacramento, or Sutter-Yuba counties. All visual art mediums are accepted.

What is Offered

Budget of $10,000, studio space, and exhibition opportunity.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years old, reside in one of the six specified California counties, and not have been selected for an SCG Residency at Blue Line Arts before. Requires submission of cover letter, workshop proposals, CV, artist statement, and work samples.
