About the Open Call

The SSNYC-CCA Artist-in-Residence program offers artists the gift of time to work on specific projects, build community connections, and provide resources for project development while enjoying the collaborative nature of a shared studio. The residency provides studio access, firing credits up to $2,000, 100 lbs of clay, and access to stock glazes. Participants must commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week on-site and present a final public project.

Requirements

Must be 21+ years old, not currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, not participating in another residency, and must have basic ceramic experience to work independently.
