Seed, Feature & Impact Grants

About the Open Call

Design Trust grants support projects relevant to the context and content of Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. Supported disciplines include graphics, media, wearables, architecture, and the built environment. Seed Grants (up to 50,000 HKD) support experimentation and emerging designers. Feature Grants (up to 300,000 HKD) support cross-disciplinary, large-scale, or internationally recognized projects. Impact Grants are available for previous grant recipients to further their research.

What is Offered

Seed Grants are awarded up to HKD 50,000. Feature Grants are capped at HKD 300,000.

Requirements

Applicants must be designers, curators, collectives, or non-profit organizations based in the Greater Bay Area or working on projects relevant to the region. Impact grants are reserved for former Design Trust grant recipients.

How to Apply

Applications are reviewed in two cycles annually with deadlines on April 20th and October 20th. Submit via the online application process detailed on the website.
