Seed Funding for Midlands based artists – open call-out!

About the Open Call

Made in the Midlands returns to support artists and companies in the region. We are looking for creative projects around the theme of 'Home' covering drama, dance, music, visual art, film, and words. Selected artists receive £2,500+VAT, development space in the Helen Martin Studio, technical support, and a public sharing opportunity on February 11, 2027.

What is Offered

£2,500+VAT seed funding, development space, technical support, event management, and marketing for a public scratch night.

Requirements

Applicants must be based in the West Midlands or within a 30-mile radius of CV4 7AL, aged 16+, and willing to register as self-employed with a tax number and obtain Public Liability Insurance. Successful applicants must be available for a 20-minute discussion on July 1, 2026, and for the public sharing on February 11, 2027.
