About the Open Call

Chinwe Russell Auctions is inviting artists to submit original artworks for their upcoming Autumn 2025 online auctions. The auctions will feature selected works on LiveAuctioneers (for America) and Chinwe Russell Auctions (for UK and European markets), providing significant exposure to thousands of potential buyers. Artists are encouraged to submit high-quality original artworks in diverse styles, excluding digital art and photography. Submissions are open to artists globally. While submission is free, a participation fee of £8 per piece is incurred for selected artworks before the auction goes live. Artists retain autonomy over their reserve prices and are paid for successful sales, deducting a 20% commission and any transfer fees for non-UK artists. High-quality images of the artwork are sufficient; physical shipment is only required upon a successful sale directly to the buyer.

Requirements

Artists from all over the globe are invited to submit 3 to 10 original artworks in all visual arts media, excluding digital art and photography. Submitted works must be available for sale. High-quality JPEG images are required (full work, back, scale image, signature, details). All fields in the application form must be meticulously completed in ENGLISH. Artists are responsible for shipping sold works promptly with tracked service.

How to Apply

Artists must submit a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 original artworks via the online form on the Chinwe Russell Auctions opportunity page. Submissions require principal images, images of the back, scale images, signature images, and detail images. Artists must also provide artwork title, location, realistic reserve price in GBP, medium, dimensions, weight, short description, year created, shipping cost to UK, and signed status. Applicants must read and agree to the detailed auction terms and conditions.
