HMVC Gallery New York
Our September group exhibition invites artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to explore the vast spectrum of creativity. From mixed media and digital art to sculpture, painting, and beyond, “Creativity Unbound” is a dynamic show where imagination reigns supreme. Artists are encouraged to unleash their creativity and showcase the boundless possibilities of artistic expression. We are looking for artworks that are a testament to the artists’ fearless exploration of new ideas and their commitment to authentic self-expression. We want this group exhibition to inspire viewers to reconsider the definition of art and the artists to embrace the beauty of creative freedom. While the theme is open, you’ll be judged by your artwork’s originality, style, technique, artistry, and the quality of your Artist Bio and Artist Statement. We welcome artworks from all mediums of visual art, except AI-created art, and video/film. The show will premiere on September 1st and end on September 30th.
All participating artists will be featured on the HMVC Gallery New York Website and Virtual Gallery, receive an HMVC Gallery New York certificate of participation, and have a video clip of their artwork screened on a jumbotron billboard in New York City’s Times Square. Cash prizes will be awarded: $150 for Best of Show, $100 for Second Place, and a $100 e-gift card for the Blick Art Materials Award. The Third Place winner will receive their own online Solo Show at HMVC Gallery New York for one month and a solo certificate.
Artists must provide high-quality images of their artwork, an Artist Bio, and an Artist Statement. Up to 11 artworks can be submitted. Accepted image formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, WEBP, with dimensions between 1200 and 2560 pixels on the longest side and image size under 2 MB. All mediums of visual art are welcome, except AI-created art and video/film. Applicants must be 18+ years of age.
