About the Open Call

CEV Art Gallery invites African American artists across all disciplines to submit original works for a virtual exhibit honoring Black History Month and beyond. This curated online exhibition seeks to showcase art that reflects vision, perspective, and insight, providing a platform to highlight the depth and diversity of Black creative expression. We welcome submissions from visual artists, photographers, illustrators, digital artists, mixed media practitioners, and other creatives whose work engages with themes of perception, identity, and cultural narrative.

What is Offered

Inclusion in a professionally curated online exhibit, inclusion in a 2D online gallery with a catalog for art collectors, and promotion through dedicated marketing channels to enhance visibility.

Requirements

Open to African American artists aged 16 and older. Submissions must be original work. Limit of 2 images per artist. Prohibited content includes AI-generated art, sadist art, and nudity.

How to Apply

Submit up to 2 original artworks via the online submission process. Artists must be 16 years or older. AI-generated art, sadist art, and nudity are strictly prohibited and will be automatically disqualified.
