About the Open Call
The Small Works 2026 exhibition is open to all Hampton regional and Virginia artists. Artists may submit up to six artworks. 2D works must be no larger than 8x10 inches including frame; 3D works must be no larger than 8 inches on any side. Miniatures are defined as 2D works smaller than 20 sq inches or 3D works smaller than 5 inches cubed. Features cash prizes for 1st ($200), 2nd ($150), 3rd ($100), and a Mighty Miniature award ($100).
What is Offered
Cash awards for First ($200), Second ($150), and Third ($100) Places, plus a Mighty Miniature award ($100) and Awards of Merit.
Requirements
Must be a Hampton regional or Virginia artist. 2D artworks must be no larger than 8 x 10 inches (including frame). 3D artworks must be no larger than 8 inches on any side. Maximum six artworks per artist.
