Snapshot America: A Portrait of the United States in 2026

About the Open Call

The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts invites artists to submit photographs that capture the unique landscape and daily experiences of living in the United States in 2026. This exhibition aims to create a time capsule through images of community, local events, landmarks, and everyday activities. Selected works will be presented in the gallery, online, and in an exhibition catalog. Participation is open to residents of all 50 states and 14 territories of the U.S.

What is Offered

Exhibition in gallery and online, and inclusion in an exhibition catalog.

Requirements

Artists must be 18 years or older and residents of the 50 states or 14 territories of the United States. Submit 1-10 original photographic images. Work must be exhibition-ready.
