Spectroscope
This residency offers deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists time and space to step away from daily pressures to experiment and make. It includes two one-week stays at East Quay, an artist fee of £1,500, plus travel and subsistence funds. Mentoring from Spectroscope curators is provided, and there is an opportunity for a light-touch exhibition at Studio 10 in early 2027.
Artist fee of £1,500, £250 for travel, £250 for subsistence, and a £600 exhibition materials budget.
Applicants must be aged 21 or over, be a practicing artist at any stage of their career, be deaf, disabled or neurodivergent (including long-term health conditions), and currently live in the South West of England.
Applications should be submitted via the CuratorSpace link provided. Applications can be submitted in written form or as a BSL video (maximum 5 minutes).
