About the Open Call

Prism Press invites visual artists of all backgrounds and disciplines to submit work for our upcoming VR exhibition and publication, SPIRIT, a curated exploration of the spiritual and the sacred in contemporary art. Selected artists receive a VR exhibition with an opportunity to sell their work (Prism Press does not take a commission) and a complimentary print catalogue, published with an ISBN, professionally bound in paperback. We are seeking work that engages with themes of spirituality, faith, mysticism, ritual, transcendence, and the search for meaning. Submissions may reflect specific religious traditions or personal expressions of the spiritual journey. We also welcome interpretations rooted in ancestral memory, meditation, inner transformation, or connections to the unseen. Eligibility: Open to artists worldwide, working in any medium (painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, digital, performance, writing). No AI work is accepted. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply. Submission Guidelines: Up to 3 works may be submitted for consideration. Please include mid-sized resolution images, work details and your website. (If selected we will ask for high-resolution suitable for print.) All work must engage authentically with the theme Spirit.

Requirements

Open to artists worldwide, working in any medium (painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, digital, performance, writing). No AI is allowed. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply. Up to 3 works may be submitted. All work must engage authentically with the theme Spirit.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit up to 3 works for consideration. Please include mid-sized resolution images, work details, and your website. All work must engage authentically with the theme Spirit. Apply via the online form by providing your first name, last name, email, city, country, uploading three works (jpg or mp4 for time based work), adding art details in the format: Title, Medium, dimensions, year created, price. In two sentences, describe how your work fits the theme of Spirit, thoughtfully, as you may be quoted in the catalogue. Provide a link to your Artist Website (Social Media URL acceptable). An application fee of $20 applies.
