Startup Art Fair LA
The three-day Startup Art Fair LA, from February 27 - March 1, 2026, will be held at the Kinney Hotel in Los Angeles, conveniently located near Venice Beach, Santa Monica, and Marina Del Rey. It runs concurrently with Frieze LA, Post Fair, and Felix Art Fairs. This offers participating artists a significant opportunity to showcase new work to a wide audience of collectors, curators, gallery owners, art consultants, and writers visiting for the weekend's contemporary art events. The application process is rolling, with early applicants gaining priority in selecting their preferred space. A selection committee of art world professionals will review artwork. Selected artists will transform a hotel room into a solo exhibition space for three days, maintaining full control over their careers, managing their own sales, and engaging directly with potential collectors and industry professionals. Artists retain 100% of their sales. Room sizes vary, from 270 sq ft with 30 linear feet of wall space ($2900) to 420 sq ft with 65 linear feet of wall space ($4900). Exhibitor fees are competitive and include four nights at the hotel, complimentary fair passes for guests, 24/7 on-site security, a personal artist page on the Startup website, discounted overnight parking, extensive PR, advertising, and marketing efforts, curatorial and professional development support both before and after the fair, public liability insurance, and automatic acceptance to Singulart with a 50% discount on their services.
