About the Open Call
L7 Gallery invites contemporary artists to share art that investigates and represents the concept of stillness. Stillness can be evoked through serene reflection, joyous possibility, or anxious alertness. The exhibition seeks figurative, landscape, or abstract depictions in media such as painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, collage, fabric art, and sculpture. Please note that photography, computer-generated art, and AI-assisted works are not accepted.
What is Offered
One selected artist will receive a $500 award. Artists receive a 60% commission on all work sold during the exhibition.
Requirements
Artists must be 18 years or older. All artwork must be original and available for sale. Acceptable media include painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, collage, fabric art, and sculpture. Photography and AI-generated works are prohibited.
How to Apply
Applications must be completed online through CaFÉ (Callforentry.org). Artists must submit 1 to 3 images.
