Studio bursary open call for London-based Hong Kong Diaspora artists

About the Open Call

This open call is for a London-based artist of the Hong Kong diaspora to take up a free studio at Gasworks for three years, from 4 January 2027 – 3 January 2030. The selected artist will receive 24/7 access to a private 25-square-metre studio, an annual materials stipend of £1,000, and invitations to Gasworks' activities, including Open Studios, exhibition openings, and networking events.

What is Offered

3-year studio space and £1,000 annual materials stipend.

Requirements

Early and mid-career contemporary visual artists based in London; identify as Hong Kong diaspora; permanent address in Greater London; right to live and work in the UK.
