About the Open Call

BYMT is the largest commissioner of new musical theatre in the UK. They programme six full productions and development camps designed for a cast of 37 young people. The company works with industry professionals to stage work in top UK theatre venues. Submissions are welcome at all stages of development, from inception to fully written shows.

What is Offered

Professional development, dramaturgical support, production support, casting involvement, marketing & PR support, and potential future licensing/strategy.

Requirements

Must be suitable for a cast of 37 young people, have a maximum band size of 5, be under 90 minutes (usually), and have a clear reason for involving a young company.
