Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art
Al-Tiba9 Art Magazine is a global hub of creativity, showcasing cutting-edge contemporary art in various forms including Digital Arts, photography, painting, architecture, sculpture & installations, Film & Video Art, fashion design, interior design, and performance. In each edition, Al-Tiba9 magazine curates a selection of visionary artists, architects, and designers, offering a 116-page journey with artworks, biographies, statements, and interviews. Selected artists receive global recognition through partnerships with esteemed art fairs like ARCOmadrid and ARCOlisboa, and the magazine becomes a collector's item showcased at important Artist’s Book fairs like ArtsLibris Barcelona at the MACBA Contemporary Art Museum of Barcelona. The magazine engages with its audience across social media, website, and both print and digital formats, fostering dynamic dialogue. ISSUE19 is 100% curated editorial content, offering selected artists up to 6 pages in both print and digital versions and promotion on the website and newsletters.
Selected artists get featured in Al-Tiba9 magazine with up to 6 pages in both print and digital versions, benefit from international exposure in artist book fairs in Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon, and will be promoted on the website and newsletters. There is also a possibility of a dedicated digital interview.
Artists are welcome to submit their work. All techniques are welcome. Artists from all countries are welcome to submit. Artists featured in past Issues can submit new works. All applications need to be in English. Biography and statement texts should be written in English and in the third person.
Artists can only submit their applications via the form on the Al-Tiba9 website. Do not apply without reading the guidelines. Artists can submit one or many works. If additional material (images, direct links, CV, statements, image info) is to be considered, insert a link to a shared folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) in the dedicated box. All applications need to be in English. Biography and statement texts should be written in English and in the third person. Contact details and supporting information must be provided through the application form; email applications will be rejected. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Folders sent via link MUST be open. WeTransfer applications will be rejected.
