About the Open Call

The Manifest Prize is an annual international competition offering a $5,000 cash award and a four-week solo exhibition for a single, exceptional work of visual art. Judged by a rigorous multi-member blind jury process with no stylistic or media bias, the prize champions mastery and quality in contemporary art. Works must have been completed within the last five years (2020-2025) and be available for the exhibition period (December 12, 2025 - January 9, 2026) at Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Four runner-up finalists will also receive $250 cash awards and be recognized in the annual publication. The winning work and finalists will be documented in the Manifest Exhibition Annual publication.

What is Offered

Requirements

Open to everyone. Entries must represent exceptional original works of visual art, design, or high craftsmanship of any kind. Works must have been completed within the past five years (2020-2025) and be available for exhibition from early December through mid-January. Works must arrive gallery-ready, exhibiting good craftsmanship and professional-level presentation. Digital images must meet specified file naming and size requirements.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit an online entry form and upload digital images of their work via the provided Dropbox link. Entry fees can be paid via U.S. check, money order, or PayPal. Full prospectus review is recommended before submission.
