The Abbey Harris Mural Fund
The Abbey Harris Mural Fund, established in 1926, offers grants to artists for producing murals and work on walls in the UK. The Trustees of the Fund, who are artists themselves, are committed to funding high-quality, artistically rigorous public art. The artistic merit of the proposed artwork is the primary selection criterion. Trustees review images and previous works. Additionally, they consider the project's audience, duration (minimum 3 months), and its relation to the site and demographic. The fund supports work on walls, floors, or ceilings, in any medium, in a UK site accessible to the general public, with a semi-permanent/permanent duration.
Funding of up to £7000 is available.
Artists and organisations based in the UK are eligible to apply. A mural is understood to include work on walls, floors, or ceilings, in a UK site accessible to the general public, with a semi-permanent/permanent duration (minimum 3 months). Any medium will be considered.
