About the Open Call

Recognizing the impact that travel can have on an artist’s career, the Dorothy Antoinette LaSelle Foundation has established the Dorothy Antoinette LaSelle Travel Fellowship. In the fall of 2026, two awards of $5,000 each will be distributed to artists working and residing in the state of Texas, enabling the recipients to complete a research trip to further their artistic practice.

Two awards of $5,000 each.

Requirements

Must currently reside in Texas for at least one year; must be a practicing professional with at least 3 solo or group exhibitions in the past 3 years; must hold a degree in the arts.
