Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center
The Manifest Prize, now doubled to $10,000 for its 16th annual iteration, aims to reward, showcase, celebrate, and document exceptional artwork. It is open to works of any media, genre, or style, with no size restrictions, provided they were completed between 2020 and 2025. The selection process involves an anonymous 7-15+ person jury. The single winning work will be exhibited in one of Manifest's galleries for four weeks (December 12, 2025 - January 9, 2026), and four finalist works will receive $250 cash awards and recognition in the Manifest Exhibition Annual publication. The winning artist also receives a free copy of the hardcover annual. Works must be available for exhibition and arrive gallery-ready with professional presentation. Shipping costs are the artist's responsibility, and works are insured while on gallery premises.
$10,000 Award, four-week solo exhibit of the single winning work of art, $250 for four finalist works (runners-up), featured in the gallery, and published, free copy of the large-format hardcover book.
Works submitted must have been completed within the past five years (2020-2025). The winning work must also be available for the exhibition period of early December through mid-January. Works must arrive ready to install, demonstrating professional-level presentation and craftsmanship. Works not claimed within 30 days of the end of the exhibit will become the property of Manifest. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the gallery.
Applicants must submit an online entry form, providing digital images/files. Video or interactive submissions require a link to a viewable online copy and a single representative JPEG image. Image files must be named according to specific conventions (last name_first name_entry number.jpg, with 'detail' for additional views) and meet quality specifications (high quality JPEG, no smaller than 1000 pixels in any direction, 72 dpi). Entry fees are $60 for up to five entries (after September 1, 2025) and $5 for each additional entry, payable via U.S. check or PayPal.
