The Meridian Award supports independent, self-directed contemporary practices through a $1,000 unrestricted cash prize for one winner and recognition for two finalists. Applications are juried based on artistic merit, clarity of vision, and strength of a unique artistic perspective.

One $1,000 unrestricted cash prize for the winner and international visibility through an artist interview and promotion for the winner and two finalists.

Requirements

Open to all artists aged 18 and over with no restrictions based on nationality, location, education, or professional status. Films are not eligible.
