Outside In
Organised by Outside In, the bursary supports artists in developing their work through training, mentoring, research, networking, travel, and project development. The programme aims to create a fairer and more accessible art world by supporting artists who may experience exclusion due to disability, health, social circumstance, or isolation. Funding is intended to have a meaningful and lasting impact on an artist’s professional growth and creative practice.
Applicants must: Be an Outside In artist Be based in the UK Have the right to work in the UK Be actively producing artwork Applicants are not eligible if: They are not registered as an Outside In artist They live outside the UK They received the bursary within the last three years What the Bursary Can Support Funding may be used for: Training courses Mentoring or coaching Competition or exhibition entry fees Art materials related to current practice Research and development Travel connected to exhibitions, networking, or artistic research Project start-up costs The bursary does not cover: General living expenses Studio rent Everyday artist expenses
