The Polyphonic Pulcinella: Multilingual Collective Creation Residency

About the Open Call

The programme focuses on reinterpreting Pulcinella as a “polyphonic” figure capable of reflecting multiple identities, traditions, and social narratives. Through workshops, residencies, performances, and collaborative exchanges, selected participants will investigate themes connected to folk culture, migration, collective memory, ritual, and theatrical transformation. The initiative aims to bridge traditional Italian performance heritage with contemporary artistic languages and international perspectives. Selected participants will take part in a collaborative residency and artistic exchange process connected to the development of new performative works and research outcomes. The programme provides opportunities for creative experimentation, professional networking, intercultural dialogue, and public presentation within the framework of the project’s activities in Naples and partner contexts.
