About the Open Call
The Sweep of Time: Beyond the Horizon is an exhibition exploring photography and light-based media. It invites artists to explore time as a subject, symbol, or environment and the horizon as a conceptual or literal threshold. The exhibition is part of the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial. All participating artists receive a $50 honorarium, and selected works are eligible for $9,000 in Grand Jury Awards.

Requirements
Open to all traditional and non-traditional photographic and light-based media, including mixed media with a dominant lens-based component. No size restrictions. Works must be submitted as digital files. Applicants must be able to ship/deliver work to the gallery.
How to Apply
Submit the online entry form at the official link provided, then upload image files via the project Dropbox link received after form submission. Entry fees can be paid via check or PayPal.
